The block

The pattern starts with a carved block. I drew a lattice of circles and rings, carved it into a wood block, and printed it by hand in two passes: a green layer first, then pink offset over it so the two colors interlock.

I chose a vibrant pink and green palette for a high-contrast, modern look, printed on recycled cotton.
